Hot on the heels of Richard and Judy-Gate, and Quiz Channel-Gate, comes yet another premium rate rip-off scandal, this time involving the quite frankly tedious GMTV (Give Me The Valium) Breakfast Show taking potentially £millions from unsuspecting viewers, or should that show be renamed…

They haven’t even been home a week, and already there is controversy over exclusive media interviews with the British Sailors who were held in Iran, and reportedly being paid six-figure sums for their stories. Apparently the M.O.D. has now placed a ban on any further personnel selling their stories. If any of you have seen the newspapers of the past couple of days, it’s a definite case of locking the door after the horse has bolted…

Movie Hybrids, and the Race for Life… April 4, 2007

Been a little while since I posted anything on here, mainly due to work and teaching commitments at present, so apologies if you’ve come back over the last week or so and haven’t found anything new.
B3ta have recently run a ‘movie’ themed competition, with the premise of combining two movies and photoshopping the resulting hybrid film. A few submissions of mine which I enjoyed making are here…
Also, as mentioned in an earlier blog post, my Father in Law Mark passed away from Cancer earlier this year (23rd February) aged just 53. Last year my better half, Catherine, ran the ‘Race for Life’ in aid of Cancer Research UK, raising over £800, and she intends to do the same again this year on Sun. 6th May 2007 in Norwich. If you’re stopping by the blog, enjoy the pictures, and you feel you could spare a quid or two in sponsorship, it would be most appreciated. Every single pound helps. If you can dip into your pocket for a quid, many thanks.
Her official Race for Life page, with sponsorship link, is here:
