Wogan’s Woes… October 16, 2007

The BBC has apparently been hit by a ‘flurry’ of complaints from it’s viewers over ‘Dear ol’ Tel’ and his choice of ‘lower’ attire hosting his regular ‘Points of View’ slot at sunday teatime.
Apparently, and as can be seen by following the link to the Daily Mail website HERE, poor old Terry seemed somewhat uncomfortable when the camera panned out for a widescreen shot – some of us should be so lucky that it would require a widescreen shot to spark a similar ‘flurry’ of complaints.
Not exactly a ‘big’ news story of the week, but it does allow a fairly cheap gag to be done…
The complaints were mostly from a ’shocked’ Teatime audience, worried that he was displaying too much of his *blank* or *blanks*…
Royal Mail Strikes Continues… October 9, 2007

Continued strike action by Royal Mail staff has effectively seen no postal service for the past 5 days, and there are increasing threats of another strike next week.
The ongoing saga can be found HERE.
Personally speaking, as the owner of a small company, I just wish they could all pull their fingers out, and sort it out, as it’s not doing anyone any favours at the end of the line – ie. us poor saps waiting for the mail.
If service continues like this, may I suggest a rebrand of the Royal Mail…
